Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how kudesi (“kudesi”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use Kudesi Gamedesign (the “Service”), the tool we use to upload devlogs, gameplay clips and behind-the-scenes videos of our games to TikTok accounts connected through TikTok’s official login.
1. Controller
The controller under the GDPR is the provider named in the Impressum, reachable at hi@kudesi.de.
2. Information we collect
- TikTok authorisation data: when an account is connected, TikTok gives us an access token and a refresh token, the account’s TikTok ID (open ID) and its display name (permission user.info.basic). We do not receive your password.
- Content: the videos and captions that are uploaded as drafts through the Service (permission video.upload).
- Technical data: basic server logs (time, request, IP address) for security and reliable operation.
We do not access messages, followers, contacts, viewing history or any other account data.
3. How we use information
- To upload videos as drafts to the connected account, at the account owner’s direction.
- To show which account is connected and the status of each upload.
- To operate, secure and maintain the Service.
Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the Service you requested) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure operation). We use TikTok data only to provide these features, in line with TikTok’s Developer Terms of Service. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising or profiling.
4. Storage, sharing & retention
Tokens are stored encrypted on systems operated by kudesi in Germany; our web server is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Data is shared only with TikTok, to deliver the videos you chose to upload, or where required by law. Tokens are kept while the account is connected and deleted when access is revoked or deletion is requested; server logs are deleted after a few days.
5. Revoking access & deletion
You can revoke the Service’s access at any time in the TikTok app: Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Apps and services permissions (wording may vary by app version). Revoking access stops all further uploads and invalidates the stored tokens. To have your data deleted, write to hi@kudesi.de.
6. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted token storage and access limited to our own devices.
7. Children
The Service is not directed at children and is not used to collect data from children.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (lda.bayern.de).
